Client Overview
Magnolia Psychiatric Services, PLLC is a telehealth psychiatric practice founded by Nadine Smith, PMHNP-BC, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with nearly 30 years of nursing experience. Nadine is licensed across 12 states, giving her a national reach most solo practitioners never achieve. Her practice blends medication management with trauma-informed therapy and is built around a thoughtful, individualized approach to prescribing: every medication earns its place. Magnolia serves adults broadly, with a particular focus on women navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and the mental health effects of hormonal transitions, and a specific commitment to closing the care gap for Black women and women of color.
The Problem
Nadine’s national telehealth footprint wasn’t showing up anywhere on her site. Her existing website didn’t communicate her specializations, didn’t speak to the patient she most wanted to serve, and wasn’t built to capture the search volume that exists for telepsychiatry across every state she’s licensed in. Her strongest differentiators — a thoughtful, individualized approach to prescribing and an emerging focus on reproductive mental health for women of color — were essentially invisible online. She needed a site that would convert a first-time visitor into a booked patient within seconds, not just describe her services.
The Solution
We started with positioning, not pixels. Two recorded sessions with Nadine became a full brand positioning document: short, medium, and long-form messaging, a brand voice guide, and an audience summary grounded in her own words and real patient outcomes. That document became the blueprint for every page that followed. The redesigned site leads with credential-forward, benefit-oriented language written in the patient’s own voice rather than clinical jargon, walks visitors through Nadine’s collaborative, thoughtful approach to care, and routes them toward a multi-step intake flow that pre-screens before booking. The result speaks directly to the woman Magnolia was built to serve: someone tired of being over-medicated, unheard, or made to wait months for care that still doesn’t listen.
